Seymour Department of Public Works will stop the leaf collection program at residences Friday.

Until then, leaves will be picked up as weather permits, according to a news release from the city. Residents do not have to call for this service.

Leaves should be raked as close to the curb as possible and should be free of branches and other trash items. The city is asking that people avoid placing leaves in or near catch basins.
