Gamma Phi chapter of Tri Kappa met Dec. 1 at the home of Mindy Roeder.

Social committee members Lauren Kirts, Kasee Lambring and Heidi Leinart provided holiday food prior to the meeting.

President Ann Tormoehlen called the meeting to order. Reports by officers were given.

Corresponding secretary Sarah Reecer read end-of-year thank-you letters addressed to Tri Kappa. Program and project committee updates were given.

Previously inactive member Martha Brown was welcomed back to active membership.

Mae Krumme passed around a signup sheet for Girls Inc. and Anchor House sponsored holiday parties. Pecan chairwoman Jessica Olsen reported a successful sale this fall.

Roeder, the spring project chairwoman, confirmed dates for the consignment sale will be April 15 and 16.

Proposed revisions to the Gamma Phi bylaws were read by Katherine Stahl and opened for discussion. Present members voted by secret ballot, and the bylaws were passed for adoption pending the approval of the state.

After the meeting, interested members participated in a holiday dessert gift exchange.

The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at Larrison’s Diner.
