Model train layouts go on display in Seymour

Seymour Main Street will open its Model Train Exhibit on Saturday in the Knights of Pythias building at 103 N. Chestnut St. in downtown Seymour.

Hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. every Saturday through March and by appointment.

This display will include model train layouts and related photography and artwork.

Partners for the display include the Southern Indiana Model Railroad Association, the Jackson County Visitor Center, Sakura Helping Hands, Jim Rebber, Kay Fox with Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, Kevin Greene with Artistic Impressions, the Jackson County Public Library and the Jackson County History Center.

Anyone interested in volunteering with the exhibit or who has train memorabilia they would like to loan for the display can contact Seymour Main Street Director Julie Huff at 317-696-2635.
