Seymour’s baseball staff will conduct its second annual winter pitching camp on Dec. 22 and 23 in the Seymour High School auxiliary gym.

The two-day pitching camp will consist of drills that can be used for the upcoming season.

Seymour graduate and Kentucky University pitcher Zack Brown will be back to help with the camp.

The drills will emphasize basic and advanced fundamentals in pitching. The purpose of the camp is to give each pitcher a set of drills that can help improve mechanics, arm strength and arm safety.

Second and third grade will be at 5 p.m., followed by fourth and fifth at 6 p.m. and sixth through ninth at 7 p.m.

Cost is $10 and players need to bring a glove and tennis shoes.
