SEYMOUR
Janet Sue Willey Dunbar, 72 of Seymour passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center, with her son by her side.
Born June 23, 1943, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Harold and Mabel McNiece Willey, both of whom preceded her in death. Jan married Harry G. Thompson in Seymour, and he passed away Aug. 1, 1989. She then married Ronald S. Dunbar in Seymour on Aug. 21, 1992, and he passed away Nov. 18, 2015.
She owned and operated Jan’s Beauty Salon and retired as a beautician after many years of service in Seymour. She then worked for Walmart as a cashier for several years.

Jan enjoyed reading, watching Fox News, NASCAR, Colts and Broncos football games, doing any kind of puzzles and watching her grandchildren’s sporting activities. She loved her cats.
Survivors include her son Brad (Amy) Thompson; stepchildren, Becky Mooney, Ginny Bishop, Matt Dunbar, Andy Dunbar and their families; grandchildren, Trevor, Abby, Nicole, Hannah and Zachary Thompson; several stepgrandchildren; sister, Judy Trapp; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Jack Willey.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Voss Chapel.
