Lord of Life Lutheran Church in North Vernon recently announced the ordination and installation of a new pastor, the Rev. Adrian Krebs.

The ordination service was Nov. 28 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour, and his installation was Nov. 29 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church during an afternoon service.

Krebs attended Indiana State University and Indiana University Southeast, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

He later attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, completing his studies for the office of the holy ministry.

Krebs served a vicarage at Lord of Life, which has converted into a call to serve that congregation as pastor.

Other clergy participating in the installation service were Jeffery Pulse, John Reynolds, Philip Bloch, Andrew Currao, Ralph Blomenberg, Greg DeVore and Matt Jung. Vicar Alex Hoffmeyer served as acolyte, and seminarian Rich Schneider served as crucifer.

A reception followed the installation in honor of Krebs, his wife, Diana, and their children, Jacob and Hannah. Those attending included Krebs’ parents, Joe and Annetta Krebs; his grandmother, Evelyn “DeeDee” Krebs; and other relatives and friends. Church members and other area ministers also attended.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church services are at 9 a.m. Sunday, and season’s final Advent service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m.

The church is at 3300 N. State Road 3, North Vernon.
