Louise E. Deweese, 82, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

Born June 29, 1933, in Tampico, she was the daughter of Roy and Ruth Cochran Waskom, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 1953, in Brownstown, she married Raymond W. Deweese, who preceded her in death.

Louise was a housewife and retired from Pantasote (H.O. Canfield) after 30 years of service. She then worked at Jackson Park Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant.

She enjoyed crafts, camping and bird watching, and she was an artist.

Survivors include her children, Raymond (Shelly) Deweese, Vicki (Dana) Naffe and Rhea Dawn (Joe) Palmer; grandchildren, Lori Barnett, Ginger Troncone, Shannon O’Neal, Shane Deweese, Michelle Deweese, Benjamin Deweese, Steven Deweese and Alex Naffe; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Don) Tatlock, Shelby Johnson and Debbie Abbott; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Blanton; daughter, Kathy Ann Deweese; and a great-nephew.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Tom Judd officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran High School.
