Storm sewer construction on West Second Street in Seymour is set to begin Monday.

The area of Second Street to be closed will be between Lasher Drive and Vehslage Road.

The road will be closed Monday through Friday and open during weekends. Residents who live in this area will still have access to their property.

The road also will be open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The construction period is expected to last the next few months.
