NORTH VERNON

Wallace Halcomb, 85, of North Vernon died at 4:05 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Halcomb of North Vernon; sons, Bill (Brenda) Chase of Iona, Oklahoma, and Melvin Clark of North Vernon; daughter, Cathy (Carl) Grigsby of North Vernon; brother, Frank Halcomb of Frankford, Ohio; sisters, Thirsta Selig of Dupont and Alma Miller of Madison; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.

Burial will be at Dupont Cemetery.
