Medora falls to Rising Sun
RISING SUN — The Medora girls basketball team fell to Rising Sun 69-31 on Monday.
Rising Sun opened the game on a 17-4 run and led 34-11 at halftime.
The Hornets found some offense in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points, but the game was out of reach.
Carley McCammon tallied 11 points and Kailen Flynn added eight to top the Hornets’ scoring.
Elexus Morris and Flynn each had four rebounds of the team’s 20 total rebounds.
Medora turned over the ball 32 times in the contest.
Medora (1-12) has lost nine straight games and will host Columbus Christian on Jan. 2.
