Brownstown church planning Christmas Eve service

0

Brownstown Christian Church will conduct Christmas Eve services at 5 and 11 p.m. today in the church sanctuary.

The 5 p.m. service is designed for families with children. The Christmas story will be the centerpiece of that service, which will close with communion and the candlelight singing of “Silent Night.”

The 11 p.m. service will be comprised of Old Testament readings of the promise of the Savior’s coming to this world and the traditional Christmas story from the book of Luke. There also will be traditional Christmas hymns, vocal and instrumental solos and a message by the Rev. Brian Richard. The evening will conclude with a candlelight singing of “Silent Night.”

The public is invited.
