SEYMOUR

Robert A. Reynolds, 87, of Seymour, formerly of Bedford, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at Seymour Crossing.

Born June 26, 1928, in Aurora, he was the son of Cecil and Mary Goodpaster Reynolds, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Nellina Jordan 35 years ago, and she survives.

A lifelong resident of southern Indiana, he attended Pentecostal churches and was a 50-year-member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 440, Indianapolis. He loved rabbit hunting and his rabbit hunting dogs. He also enjoyed traveling.

Other survivors include children, Danny (Cindy) Reynolds of Seymour, Lanny Reynolds of Medora, Max Reynolds of Columbus and Diane Linne of Anderson, South Carolina; a brother, Taft Smith Jr.; sisters, Carolyn, Donna and Joann; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Harry and Doyle; and a sister, Hazel.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday.
