COLUMBUS

Carolyn Burkman, 80, of Columbus, died Thursday morning, Dec. 31, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Burkman of Columbus; a son, Roger (Verna) Burkman of El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Nancy (John) Hartman and Susan (Jim) Albertson of Columbus, and Lisa (Brad) Brinker of Troy, Michigan; a brother, David (Janey) Bowman of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a sister, Doris (Hank) Ivy of Waco, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Browns Corner Chapel in Jennings County. Burial will be at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jennings County.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
