NORTH VERNON

Coleman Callahan, 92, of North Vernon died at 9:42 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at his residence.

Survivors include his sons, Danny (Phyllis) Callahan and Gary Callahan, both of North Vernon; brother, Ernest (Shirley) Callahan of North Vernon; sisters, Bertha (Lawrence) Duncan and Athalene Callahan, both of North Vernon, and Stella Crabtree of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Callahan.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.

Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
