Rudolph McIntosh, 79, of Seymour, and formerly of North Vernon, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Seymour Crossing in Seymour.

Survivors include his wife, Virgie McIntosh of Seymour; sons, Gary (Diane) McIntosh of Tennessee and Randy McIntosh of Holton; daughters, Lynn Stoneking of Vernon, Lori McIntosh of Taylorsville, Diane McIntosh of Radcliff, Kentucky, and Elizabeth McIntosh of Columbus; stepsons, Johnny Frank (Susie) Ponder of Seymour and James Ponder and Kenneth Lee Ponder, both of North Vernon; stepdaughters, Sandra Batchler of Henderson, Tennessee, Brenda Thompson of Seymour and Deborah (Ted) Mellencamp of Nashville, Tennessee; brothers, Joseph (Doraann) McIntosh of Florida and Robert (Bonnie) McIntosh of Holton; sisters, Ruby (Floyd Dale) Camel of Greenwood, Faye Perry of Southport and Mary Ellis of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald McIntosh.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, with the Rev. Richard Burcham officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday.

Burial will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison with military graveside rites.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
