LEESVILLE

Laura DaVanna Dunn, 51 of Leesville passed away, Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

Born June 24, 1964, in Columbus, she was the daughter of David and Mary Sears Abner.

DaVanna was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a great mother who not only loved her children, but all children. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was fun loving and would do anything for anyone in need. Her friends knew she had a caring and kind heart.

DaVanna, would take in any stray animal and loved her dogs, Bentley, Maggie and Bogey.

Survivors include her parents; children, James Dunn and Morgan Dunn; brothers, Pleas (Melissa) Abner and Andrew (Linda) Abner; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and several cousins.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hague Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Belk, officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from noon until time of service Monday.

Memorials may be given to Red Sky Rescue or funding for schooling for the children.
