Dennis “Peach” Cole, 66, of Brownstown, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at his home.

Born Aug. 20, 1949, in Seymour, he was the son of Jewell “Fern” Cole and Paul R. Cole. On May 16, 1981, he married Susan L. Wilson, who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2008.

Peach was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved his friends and spending time just being together with them and his extended family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Peach was known as a kind man; he loved being a grandfather and will be missed by many. He was a graduate of Seymour High School and was retired from Holm Industries.

Besides his wife, he also was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Kris (Jessie) Cole and Nate (Maggie) Cole; his sister, Sherry Lynn (Mark) Browning; and grandchildren, Dylan Paul Cole, Marley Ellah Cole, Paul Robert Cole, Olive Rose Cole, Layne Sutton Cole and Mason Kristopher Cole.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
