Daniel C. Luedeman, 64, of Jennings County, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at his home.

Born Nov. 26, 1951, in Seymour, he was the son of Harry Luedeman, who preceded him in death, and Faye Stogdill Luedeman, who survives.

Daniel was a graduate of Seymour High School in 1969. He then went to work and retired after 35 years with Cummins Engine Co. in 2002. He was an avid racing enthusiast as he built several race cars, go-karts, mopeds and drag racers and even raced in several events. He was a member of the NDRA.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his animals. His greatest joy in life was his grandkids.

Beside his mother, survivors include his children, Daniel Luedeman II and Jeremy Luedeman; brothers, Michael (Rita) Luedeman, Rick (Maggie) Luedeman and Doug (Terry Heck) Luedeman; his sister, Dianne West; grandchildren, Jadelynn, Brookelynn, Austin, Justin and Katielynn Luedeman, Jessica, Amanda, Cory and Brandon Luedeman, Jaden Adams and Tryson Luedeman; great-grandchildren, Deagan Grigsby, Charlee Bowling and Kyann Luedeman; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather at 5 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel with a remembrance memorial service starting at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Miracle Foundation or Hayden Museum Association.
