PONCE DE LEON, Fla.

Jewell Ruth Beier, 65, of Ponce De Leon, Florida, formerly of Seymour, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.

Born March 26, 1950, in Seymour, she was the daughter of George and Mary Zimmerman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Ronald Beier, who survives.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and her concern for others was shown in her profession as a nurse.

Other survivors include sons, Jason Brookes and Donald Brown III; stepson, Keith Beier; and four grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kelley Brown.
