Members of the Jennings County Color Guard purchased toys for children at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour who were hospitalized over the holidays.

Dozens of toys were presented to the pediatrics unit at Schneck by Coach Seth Hulse and his color guard squad.

The Jennings County Color Guard started at Jennings County High School in 2003 as an extracurricular group and continues to function independently.

Members of the color guard are responsible for raising their own money through fundraisers and donations in order to participate, according to a news release.

The color guard participates in homecoming games for the Panthers’ football and basketball teams and in other activities in the community.
