Seymour’s Jacob Henley executes a takedown during the 1999 wrestling season.

Henley was named co-MVP that season, with a record of 32-3 in 130pounds and a third-consecutive sectional title for the Owls, along with Adam Zollman.

There were six individual sectional champions that season: Henley, Zollman, Jim Vogel, Nathan Miller and Andy Basner.

Henley and Zollman each advanced to semistate.
