Artist Kay Fox will offer a beginning watercolor class from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

The watercolor picture for this class will feature a red Indiana barn sitting in fresh fallen snow.

Participants will paint on watercolor paper, learning techniques such as dry brush working with shadows, applying layers of color, working wet on wet and blotting.

The cost is $35 and covers all supplies and instruction. Arts center members will receive a 20 percent discount.
