Davidian Mark Gambrel, 15, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at his home.

Born Jan. 15, 2001, in Seymour, he was the son of Jonrah Diabren Jackson Gambrel, who preceded him in death.

He was an eighth-grade student at Seymour Middle School and enjoyed riding his bike, playing PlayStation, bowling and going hunting with “Papaw.” He loved to hang out with his best friends, Daniel and Jake.

He was looking forward to signing up and playing baseball this spring.

Survivors include his sister, Jayla Diane Gambrel; grandparents, David and Diane Lucas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from noon until time of service Monday.
