Brownstown Public Library plans to offer a heart-healthy cooking and nutrition program at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
The program will feature the Dietary Approaches for Stop Hypertension or DASH Plan, according to a news release from the library. The program emphasizes meals that are low in fat, low in sodium, high in potassium and high in fiber.
Registration is requested and may be done at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.
This program is free and open to the public.
