The Jackson County Republican Party recently appointed Doug Hanner as Salt Creek Township trustee after the resignation of Dave Coller, who moved out of the township.

The township board meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month at Hanner’s home at 6525 N. County Road 825W, Norman.
