Bonnie Olivia Linne, 93, of Monroe, Georgia, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.

Born Feb. 19, 1922, in Sparksville, she was the daughter of Esta Eglen Johnson and Claud Greene Johnson, both of whom preceded her in death.

Bonnie was a nurse in Seymour, both at the hospital and later for Dr. William Blaisdale’s practice, and spent her time caring for others with her motto being to care for her patients as she would want her family cared for when in need. She converted to the Catholic faith and lived her faith to the fullest as a member of St. Ambrose Parish in Seymour, and later Saint Anna’s Parish in Monroe, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who made the lives of those who knew her brighter.

Survivors include her daughter, Saundra Allman of Monroe, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Eugene Linne, and by her son, Daniel Eugene Linne.

A rosary service was held Sunday and the funeral service was held Monday at Saint Anna’s Catholic Church with Father Dan Toof officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
