Omeda “Bead” Hall, 59, of Scottsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 26, 2016, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Born Nov. 8, 1956, in Blue Diamond, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Clyde and Alberta Morris Abner, both of whom preceded her in death. On March 15, 1975, in Austin, she married Bobby C. Hall, who passed away Aug. 1, 2003.

Omeda was a graduate of Humana Health Institute, where she earned her LPN license. She worked at Hampton Oaks and Covered Bridge Health Campus for many years as an LPN. She was a member of Austin Community Church of God, loved to read her Bible, cook, watch the Food Network and true crime shows. The loves of her life were her children, grandchildren and her great-grandson.

Survivors include two daughters, Sondra (Jeremy) Hall Meadows of Scottsburg and Lora Ann (Charlie) Hall Miller of Winchester, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Andrew and Anthony Hall, both of Austin, Kristen, Sammy and Steve Meadows, all of Scottsburg, and Amie, Charlie and Jimmy Miller, all of Winchester, Kentucky; a great-grandson, Isaiah Gabriel Meadows-Kiefer; eight siblings, Teddy Abner of Lexington, Kentucky, Wayne Abner of Austin, Clyde Abner Jr. of Yerkes, Kentucky, Brenda Arnett, Loretta Gabbard and Lois Hollan, all of Austin, Rosetta Sandlin of Columbia, Kentucky, and Joyce Hunter of Auburn.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Hall on March 2, 2001, and three siblings, Edward and Lawrence Abner and Patsy Dean Renick.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Crothersville, with Pastor John Carr officiating. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until time of service Sunday.

Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
