Viola M. Martin, 100, of Brownstown died at 9:34 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.
Born on Sept. 11, 1915, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Earl and Delia Baugh Boling, both of whom preceded her in death. On Jan. 29, 1956, in Brownstown, she married Walter S. Martin, who also preceded her in death.
Viola was a member of Brownstown Christian Church and was retired from Kieffer Paper Mill.
Survivors include her children, Thelma Weaver of Brownstown, Dennis Craig of Vallonia and Ronald Craig of Medora; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Don, Earl, Harry and Grant Boling; and sisters, Thelma Kohagen, Lucille Frische Casselberry and Helen Helt.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home with Gary Morning officiating. Burial will be at Vallonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday.
