Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church met Nov. 26. President Lucy Dembek called the meeting to order with 16 members present.
Wanda Gray gave devotions on how to overcome the winter blues and closed with prayer.
November and December minutes were read and approved.
Betty Guinn gave the treasurer’s report and read several thank-you notes.
Carolyn Bruce and Bonnie Koontz will continue with their duties of scrapbook and sales.
Cindy Bach gave the church board report.
Loyal Devoir is in charge of Fellowship Cafe Feb. 14.
Discussion followed on ideas for monthly activities and also activities for Loyal Devoir to sponsor. A motion passed to plan activities for the meetings.
A Mother Daughter Tea will be organized for the end of April.
Lois Gueter was approached by Pastor Kit Bogan to ask the group to prepare a luncheon to take to Brownstown for a group of 50-plus teens called “Dead Serious About Life.” A motion of $100 was made to cover the cost of the meal, and it passed.
A report on the sick was given by Bruce.
The meeting was closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
