Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour recently donated $3,636.72 to Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Food Pantry this past holiday season.

The funds were raised through a combination of fundraising events, including the annual holiday bazaar, employees donating their Thanksgiving turkey or adopting a family to purchase Christmas gifts and cash donations collected from staff and residents’ family members for raffle drawings.

Covered Bridge provides senior health and hospitality services.

Each year, Covered Bridge Health Campus and sister Trilogy Health Services health campuses across a four-state area participate in an annual fundraiser called Hope for the Holidays.

This year, Hope for the Holidays raised more than $620,000 companywide, which was an increase of more than $200,000 from the previous year.

“Covered Bridge is committed to strengthening the community we serve,” said David Spaulding, executive director.

“Supporting organizations like Anchor House helps to make a difference by improving the quality of life in our community. At our health campus, we are constantly striving to make a positive difference in Seymour.”
