SCOTTSBURG

Earleen Derringer Bowen, 79, of Scottsburg died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ward E. Bowen; five sons, Robert R. “Bobby” Bowen of Madison, Eddie (Naomi) Bowen of Austin, Harry (Kathy) Bowen of Lexington, Doug (Cindy) Bowen and Johnny Bowen of Scottsburg; four brothers, Richard (Jackie) Derringer and Ricky Derringer, of Austin, Charles E. Derringer of Lexington and Earl (Brenda) Derringer of Seymour; two halfsisters, Jackie (Ronnie) Morris of Austin, and Kathy Price-Sebastian of Scottsburg; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Pigeon Roost Cemetery near Underwood.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service today.

Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of charity.
