NORTH VERNON

Maxine Hensley DeGlandon, 98, of North Vernon died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Carter of Butlerville, Mary Lou Gootee and Judy (Dale) Shepherd, both of North Vernon, Marg DeGlandon of Nashville and Peggy Lee (Charles) Skinner of Southport, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two foster great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and five foster great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Ira DeGlandon; and sons, Stephen Ray and Michael Wayne DeGlandon.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday.

Burial will be at Rush Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jennings County.
