Betty Lou Boger, 86, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Nov. 5, 1929, in Henry County, she was the daughter of George and Luva Whiteley Irvin, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Harold Leon Boger, who also preceded her in death.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour and had worked as office manager at Ag One Co-Op and at Henry County Co-Op.

Survivors include her son, Jerry (Amy) Boger; grandchildren, Megan Boger and Amanda (Joey) Smith; and sisters, Doris Beck and Carolyn Merrill.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Berenice Ramey, Marilyn Petry and Margaret Igo; and brother, Robert Irvin.

A private graveside service for the family will be in New Castle.
