Haitian-American photographer Cendino Temé will give a presentation at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Room 1000 at the Columbus Learning Center.
The Temé presentation will include an artist address and exhibition of his work titled “No More Blues.”
The collection was inspired by the experiences of black youth who participated in the December 2014 peaceful protests during the Art Basel event in Miami. Protesters marched against police brutality and particularly the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Israel Hernandez and others.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is part of The Excellence in Leadership Initiative at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus.
