Jessica M. Lucas of Seymour has achieved the designation of President’s Scholar for the fall semester at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Lucas is a sophomore majoring in exercise science and is a member of the women’s volleyball team. She is the daughter of Tom and Angie Lucas of Seymour.

To be selected for this honor, one must compile an academic standing of 3.8 or better for the semester just completed.
