Lincoln Robert Hoevener, 2 months, of Seymour was called to the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, Indianapolis.

Born Dec. 2, 2015, in Seymour, he was the son of Jeremy Alan and Rachel Elaine Luecke Hoevener. Lincoln was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Jan. 10, 2016.

He was nicknamed “Linco” by his uncle, had the prettiest blue eyes and loved having his brother up close, right near his face.

Lincoln will be deeply missed by his parents; big brother, Logan; maternal grandparents, Donald and Audrey Luecke; paternal grandparents, Alan and Mitzi Hoevener; maternal great-grandmothers, Patricia Klosterman and Evelyn Luecke; paternal great-grandmothers, Dorothy Hoevener and Carol Thompson; aunts and uncles, Kelly Luecke, Jennifer (Jamie) Harris and Erick (Kelly) Hoevener; and cousins, Donovan and Rylee Harris, Braley and Hadley Hoevener.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Walter E. Darlage, Robert E. Luecke, Wilbur Hoevener and Earl “Ike” Thompson.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, the Rev. Philip Bloch and the Rev. James Rodriguez officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.

Memorials can be written to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health or Immanuel Lutheran Church’s child care program.
