PARIS CROSSING

Joan Brock, 82, of Paris Crossing passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at her daughter’s home.

Born July 1, 1933, in Seymour, she was the daughter of James and Mary Jaynes Trapp, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 29, 1952, in Seymour, she married Charles Robert Brock, who survives.

Joan was a member of Seymour Christ Temple. She spent her life as a loving homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, gardening and woodworking.

Other survivors include her children, Tim (Linda) Brock, Darlene (Kenny) Claycamp, Mark (Beth) Brock and Tina Smith; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Helmbrecht; and several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Johnny Trapp.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour. Burial will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
