Delta Kappa Gamma Society for women educators will meet at 6 p.m. April 19 at Brownstown United Methodist Church at Poplar and Walnut streets.

Jennifer Plumm will be the speaker as she portrays the life of a pharmacist during the Civil War.

Dinner cancellations are requested by April 15 and may be made by calling chairwoman Susan Harrison at 812-966-2365. Donations for Red Sky Rescue and Humane Society of Jackson County will be collected.

Membership in Delta Kappa Gamma is open to active and retired women working in the education field from public and private schools.
