Dana Edward Naffe, 57, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Sept. 28, 1958, in Seymour, he was the son of Charles E. “Bud” Naffe, who preceded him in death, and Lora Mae VonDielingen Naffe who survives. On Feb. 7, 1987, in Louisville, Kentucky, he married Vicki D. Deweese who survives.

Dana was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. After graduating from Seymour High School, he worked his entire life as a farmer. He spent his free time enjoying tractor pulls, racing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the National Garden Tractor Pullers Association.

Other survivors include son, Alex Naffe; stepdaughters, Lori (James) Barnett and Ginger (Fred) Troncone; grandchildren, Adeline, Eloise and Franklin Troncone; sister, Marlene (Martin) Maassen; aunt, Carol (Bill) Stuckwisch; several nieces and nephews; and a very good friend, Roger Wehmiller.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his uncles, Leo, Arnold and Hershel VonDielingen; his aunts, Alberta Baxter, Alice Eldridge, Lois Riley and Darlene VonDielingen; father-in-law, Raymond Deweese; mother-in-law, Louise E. Waskom Deweese; and sister-in-law, Kathy Deweese.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Voss Chapel.

Friends and family may gather from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran High School or donor’s choice of charity.
