Schneck employees honored by program

Two Schneck Medical Center employees have been honored by the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program for their participation on the Baldrige Board of Examiners.

They are Tammy Dye, vice president of clinical services and chief quality officer, and Suki Wright, director of organizational excellence and innovation.

Dye is a senior examiner in her sixth year on the Baldrige Board of Examiners, and Wright is an alumni examiner in her eighth year.

Schneck Medical Center in Seymour was a 2011 recipient of the Baldrige Award, the nation’s highest honor for organizational innovation and performance excellence.

Baldrige examiners are responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications submitted for the Baldrige Award and other assessment-related tasks. The examiner board is composed of more than 350 leading experts competitively selected from industry, professional, trade, education, health care, nonprofit and government organizations from across the United States.
