Schedule changes, cancellations

A number of sporting events involving Jackson County schools were moved or cancelled Thursday due of inclement weather.

The Trinity Lutheran at Southwestern (Shelbyville) track and field was postponed to April 18.

Seymour’s home softball game against Silver Creek has been moved to May 6, and Brownstown Central’s game at Pekin was rescheduled to April 19.

The Seymour varsity baseball teams will play at Columbus East on Monday, with the SHS junior varsity hosting the Olympians that evening. No makeup date has been made for the freshman game at this point.

Columbus North’s home match against Seymour was cancelled, and a makeup date will be announced in the coming days.
