March for Babies slated in Seymour

The annual Seymour March for Babies will begin at 9:30 a.m. April 23 at Seymour High School, 1350 W. Second St.

The March for Babies is the fundraiser that supports the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies.

Registration for the free event will begin at 9 a.m. that day.

Premature birth is the No. 1 killer of babies and costs employers $12 billion annually, according to a news release from the March of Dimes. Money raised to support the March of Dimes supports programs and research that help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
