Cynthia Annice Reynolds, 79, of Medora passed away at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Born Jan. 25, 1937, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Hugh W. “Peck” Bobbitt and Bernice M. Troy Bobbitt, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 1, 1955, in Crown Point, she married Robert L. “Bob” Reynolds who survives.

She graduated from Clearspring High School in 1955 and retired from ITT Plastics of Medora in 1986. She was a member of Medora Wesleyan Church and Leesville Order of the Eastern Star, and she was president of the Medora Town Council from 2013 to 2014. She loved doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, cooking and housekeeping, organizing family gatherings and entertaining her grandchildren.

Other survivors include three sons, Randal D. (Gayna) Reynolds of Vallonia, Robert B. (Kim) Reynolds of Portageville, Missouri, and Richard K. Reynolds of Medora; two daughters, Bernice George of Medora and Mardeana “Helen” Reynolds of Paris Crossing; nine grandchildren, Sarah Dunkle, Emily Riggs, Adam Reynolds, David Reynolds, Shawna Gray, Leslie Ault, Craig Bell, Christopher Reynolds and Jacob Reynolds; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bobbitt of Seymour; and a sister, Kathleen Anderson of Bedford.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Matthew Reynolds; three brothers, Delbert Rodenberger, James Rodenberger and William Bobbitt; and a sister, Lois Douglas.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Medora Wesleyan Church with pastors Skip Breeden and Chuck Morgan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hague Funeral Home in Medora and from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. An Eastern Star service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery in Medora.
