Heritage day event looking for family historians

0

Family Heritage Day is Saturday at the Brown County History Center, 90 E. Gould St., Nashville, just north of the courthouse.

The center is looking for family historians who want to share or display their work. Many early Brown County settlers came from Jackson County, according to a news release from the center.

This is a free event, and all who want to participate can have a table reserved for their display. So far, tables are reserved for the Indiana Genealogical Society, veterans, family displays and the Monroe County History Center.

There will be door prizes and free handouts.

If you plan to participate, call 812-320-6237.
