Brownstown Public Library also will be closed for all of its staff to attend the conference.

More than 170 library staff and board members from throughout Indiana will attend sessions on various topics, including dealing with angry customers, life-size gaming, public libraries and college success, collection weeding and active-shooter training.

All libraries will reopen for regular hours Saturday, with the Discovery Bus included in activities at Kids Fest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Seymour High School.
