FREETOWN

Willard Rose, 77, of Freetown passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at his home.

Born April 4, 1939, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, he was the son of Courtney and Nora King Rose, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Della Fee, who preceded him in death. In 1979, he married Wanda S. Mitchell, who preceded him in death Aug. 13, 2006.

Willard could fix anything. He was a jack-of-all-trades who loved working on cars and tinkering with anything that needed to be fixed.

Survivors include his children, Debbie Richart, Carol (Tim) Neal, David Rose, Katherine (Lanny) Smith, Rachel (Doug) South and Charlotte Davidson; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Saturday.
