One of Indiana’s oldest and largest wine events will be conducted Saturday in Brown County.

The Indiana Wine Fair, featuring wine, music and food, returns to Story Inn for the 14th year in a row. It has grown to be the largest event featuring exclusively Indiana wines, according to a news release from the Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

From 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests will be able to savor complimentary 1-ounce pours of the state’s finest wines.

With dozens of participating wineries, a wide variety of wines will be on hand to sample, including Rieslings, Rosés, Malbecs and Merlots.

Food and glasses and bottles of wine will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon.

Live music will be ongoing throughout the day on Story Inn’s barnyard stage.

Guitarist Chris Dollar will start off the festivities with his “greengrass acousticana” sounds from 12:30 to 2 p.m. He will be followed by the Indiana Boys, an Americana group playing its own version of roots music, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Rounding out the music lineup will be Bigfoot Yancey with folk music from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Admission to the festival is $30 per person for those consuming wine and $10
