Pollination program planned at refuge

This Saturday, you can “get the buzz on pollinators” and learn what you can do to help at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The day will start at 10 a.m. with a wildflower walk, beginning at the visitor center.

At noon, a person-sized bee will present a program about “The Birds, the Bees and the Beetles,” and at 1 p.m., there will be a program about monarch butterflies and native plants. Children’s activities will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Starts of native beebalm (a food plant for pollinators) also will be available.
