MEDORA

Beatrice R. Campbell, 89, of Medora passed away at 5:04 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Born Jan. 30, 1927, in San Francisco, she was the daughter of Joseph Ruigomez and Concha Fuentes Ruigomez, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Kenneth D. Campbell, who preceded her in death in 1986.

Beatrice was of the Catholic faith, a homemaker and worked for the federal government as a U.S. Customs clerk in California. She loved to read, watch tennis and college basketball, and work in the garden.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph K. Campbell, Medora, Kenneth E. Campbell, Grand Cane, Louisiana, and Kelly T. Campbell, Nashville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Ruigomez, California.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael C. Campbell and David R. Campbell; and three brothers.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Hague Funeral Home in Medora handled the arrangements.
