Bonnie Sue Dailey, 76, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at The Springs at Lafayette.

Born May 25, 1939, in Medora, she was the daughter of the Ralph and Opal Prey Barkman, both of whom preceded her in death. Bonnie was married to Lewis Dailey, who survives, for 58 years.

Bonnie graduated from Seymour High School. She worked at Commercial Filters and then Witham Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1998. Bonnie was a founding member of Shalom House and was a huge supporter of the LHS Band Boosters when her children were growing up. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Chuck (Sandy) Dailey of Lebanon; and daughter, Dee (Bryan) Nicely of Thorntown; grandchildren, Jason (Audra) Dailey of Florida, Joshua (fiancé, Swati) Dailey of California, and Reed and Luci Nicely of Thorntown; and great-grandchildren, Olivia and Grant Dailey of Florida.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Barkman; and a sister, Rosemary Kretzer.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, with Pastor David Wright officiating. Burial will be at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until time of service Sunday.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation.
